Al-Asma al-Husna — the Most Beautiful Names, as listed in the narration of Jami' at-Tirmidhi (3507).

وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ فَٱدْعُوهُ بِهَا

To Allah belong the most beautiful names, so call upon Him by them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there only 99 names?

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Allah has ninety-nine names; whoever preserves them will enter Paradise” (Sahih al-Bukhari 2736, Sahih Muslim 2677). Scholars explain that His names are not limited to ninety-nine; this is a special set with a promised reward. The list itself is from the narration of at-Tirmidhi.

What does “preserving” the names mean?
